OUR ENERGY COMMUNITY
In our energy community, all participants shape their own unique, sustainable, and fair energy market.
We provide 100% green electricity directly to customers throughout Austria, sourced from our regional solar, hydro, and wind power producers. As an eco-social, non-profit cooperative, FAMILY OF POWER delivers professional, collaborative service you can trust.

GRID LEVELS AND ENERGY COMMUNITIES
Austria is a leading pioneer in Europe when it comes to promoting and expanding energy from renewable sources and Renewable Energy Communities.
A Renewable Energy Community is permitted to generate energy from renewable sources, and to consume, store, or sell the self-generated energy. (§79 Renewable Expansion Act – EAG)
Grid operators are obliged to ensure that every eligible person (= electricity customer) who meets the relevant requirements and requests the appropriate use of the (electricity) grid (regulated grid access system) may participate either in a
- Energy Community Austria
- Renewable Energy Community (EEG) according to §16c ElWOG 2010, or in a
- Collective Generation Facility (GEA) according to §16a ElWOG 2010.
