Download the “Salzburg Verkehr Shuttle” app
Register and log in
Enter your start and destination stops, date, and time, then book your ride directly in the app.
Payment is possible either in the app or later in the shuttle.
Can I book a round trip at the same time?
Yes! With the app, you can book your outward and return journeys at the same time. To do this, simply press “Return Journey” in the app. You can then book both rides consecutively.
Caution: if your return journey is scheduled after midnight (0:00), you must also advance the date by one day. Otherwise, the app cannot offer you a ride!
The following video tutorial explains this in detail:
Where does the shuttle bus stop?
The shuttle bus stops at all official public transport bus stops. You can also find the stops on the interactive map at maps.lungau.at!
Can rides be cancelled?
Yes! Rides can be cancelled for free in the app up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Simply click the "3 dots" in your booked rides and then confirm the cancellation. The following video shows you this in detail.
IMPORTANT: If you are unable to take your booked ride, please make sure to cancel it. Otherwise, seats will be reserved unnecessarily, other users won't be able to book a ride, and the taxi will be occupied for no reason! This is not fair to other users or the drivers!
I missed the vehicle for some reason – what now?
If you cannot take your booked ride, we kindly ask you to cancel it free of charge as early as possible! This is possible up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure!
Why is this so important? Your booked ride reserves the vehicle, potentially preventing other customers from booking a ride! If not cancelled, the booked vehicle must still make your trip – which is an unnecessary effort and not ideal for anyone.
If you fail to show up for a booked ride three times (3x!), we will unfortunately have to suspend your access to Nightline 2.0 for a certain period! We don't want that, and neither do you.
You can contact the drivers at 0664 2404 040 if you have any problems or similar issues! Please use this option!
How is payment made?
A ride with Nightline 2.0 costs €3 per person per trip. Payment is made in cash directly to the driver at the start of the ride. Card payment is not possible!
ATTENTION: A fare adjustment will take place on January 3, 2025. A ride with Nightline will then cost €5 per person per trip!
Are there any other costs?
No. Downloading and using the app, booking, and cancelling are all free of charge!
Caution: If you book for, for example, 5 people, but only 3 take the ride, the fare of €3 per person (totaling €15) must still be paid for all 5 people.
Vehicle contamination:
- A charge of €24 will be applied for minor contamination.
- A charge of €54 will be applied for major contamination.
The app reports errors / is not working
It can happen, of course, that the app shows error messages or doesn't work. This can occur, for example, after a smartphone update. In such a case, simply uninstall and reinstall the app. Everything should then work correctly again.
