Common Good
is understood as the opposite of individual or group interests within a community.
Common Good refers to the well-being – the common best, the common benefit – of a community.
Community
refers to all forms of human coexistence in a general, public community that extend beyond the family unit.
Community
refers to a manageable social group (such as a family, municipality, or circle of friends) whose members are closely connected by a strong sense of 'we'. Community is considered the most fundamental form of coexistence and a basic element of society.
Family refers to a living community based on partnership, marriage, or descent. A family is a close kinship group.
A municipality or commune / community refers to the territorial bodies that represent the smallest spatial-administrative, or political-geographical, administrative units. This corresponds to the LAU-2 level (LAU = Local Area Unit) of the European Union.

European Cooperative
Key facts about the legal structure of FAMILY OF POWER as a European Cooperative Society with limited liability (SCE mbH):
- The SCE has a non-profit, cooperative focus. People always come first.
- A one-time purchase of a business share is required. There are no ongoing membership fees.
- Any individual can become a member by purchasing a business share for € 12.
- Any legal entity can become a member by purchasing a business share for € 120.
- Each member's liability is limited to the amount of their business share (e.g., € 12!).
- Limited Liability Company – FAMILY OF POWER SCE mbH.
- Members are not obligated to contribute additional capital.
- The organization is structured into regions. The focus of these regions is the municipality / community / section.
- Decisions within the community are made by consensus, with fewer than 12% objections.

FAMILY OF POWER supports goals, measures, and projects in the following areas:

Eco-social products and services with regional added value are sustainable,
meaning they are ecologically and socially responsible towards future generations.
FAMILY OF POWER promotes with an eco-social focus
- … renewable energies – especially the generation and optimized use of photovoltaic power.
- … the establishment of market-ready e-mobility in all aspects (development, production, e-charging, e-carsharing)
- … the purchasing power and revitalization of an economic region (Power bonus system)
- … the expansion and quality of childcare and educational services for children
- … organic agriculture and forestry, with high-quality food and renewable raw materials
The eco-social motto is:
“More quality of life for everyone – today and tomorrow.”
All people and future generations have the right to a good life in an intact environment.
Economic Regions
An economic region is formed from
- a municipality,
- parts of a municipality, or
- a municipal association (a voluntary, elected merger of neighboring municipalities)
constituted.
12,000 to 24,000 inhabitants form the optimal size for an economic region.
Cities and/or municipalities with more than 24,000 inhabitants are divided into several economic regions.
An economic region is also referred to as a section.
Digression on the Statute of the European Cooperative Society (SCE)
According to Article 63 of the EU Regulation on the Statute for a European Cooperative Society (SCE), the Articles of Association of FAMILY OF POWER provide for an organizational division into sections and sectors.
The organization into sections (= economic regions) exists because FAMILY OF POWER operates its “activities in more than one geographical unit and has several branches.”
The organization into sectors (= activities, e.g., childcare and education, agriculture, e-carsharing, etc.) exists because FAMILY OF POWER “operates different activities.”
The entirety of all interconnected and interdependent sectors (= activities) within a section (= economic region) is referred to as a regional economy.
Region refers to an area that forms a geographical, political, economic, and/or administrative unit.
