The POWER eTAXIs in the Murau region are a subsidiary of the FAMILY OF POWER cooperative. Their motto is: “A better quality of life for everyone in the region—today and tomorrow”!
As a nonprofit cooperative, FAMILY OF POWER supports economic regions through eco-social initiatives. The organization is FAMILY OF POWER promoting various socially relevant areas, such as eco-friendly and socially responsible mobility solutions (e-car sharing, POWER eTAXI, etc.), as well as successfully establishing future forms of renewable energy over the long term, all while boosting regional purchasing power.
FAMILY OF POWER has been established in the Murau region since 2016 FAMILY OF POWER e-car-sharing services (in the towns of Murau and Scheifling) and launched its first POWER TAXI in 2017 in cooperation with the municipality of Stadl-Predlitz. For the 2024/25 school year, FAMILY OF POWER was commissioned FAMILY OF POWER the mayors and municipal representatives of the municipalities of Schöder, Sankt Peter am Kammersberg, Teufenbach-Katsch, and Oberwölz (for the Schönberg-Lachtal region) to provide free student rides via on-demand service and kindergarten transportation. This contract was awarded in close coordination and cooperation with the long-standing regional mobility service provider TAXI Maier, which plans to retire in March/April 2025.
